Hollywood heads up! Brandon Cronenberg (son of David Cronenberg) is directing his first movie in Toronto, called Antiviral. And guess who's head of prosthetics? Complections' own graduate Trason Fernandes! On top of that, Trason brought on recent grads Lilah Whitmell, Stephen Polito and Nicola Bendrey to the team. On Tuesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 20, Complections was host to its second annual Professional Zombie Workshop.
Attendees learned from instructors Neil Morrill and Kyle Glencross, special make-up effects supervisors from Diary of the Dead. Looks covered ranged from basic to advanced techniques. Special thanks to our model zombies, graduates Karen Dance, Michael Walsh and Tara Brawley.
The event was a huge success, with people coming from as far as the United States to attend the three-hour lesson.

Everything old is new again - The Old Fire Hall returns to its creative roots as the NEW home of Complections College of Makeup Art and Design
TORONTO, Oct. 31, 2011 - The Old Fire Hall at 110 Lombard Street, former home of the legendary Second City, is under renovation and will be the new home of Complections College of Makeup Art and Design, announced Complections President Pamela Earle today. Currently located at 85 St. Nicholas Street, Complections, North America's leading college for the training of makeup design and prosthetics professionals in fashion, entertainment, film, television, theatre and production, will move to its new location in early 2012. Estimated cost of the renovation is $600,000.
